What you can expect
Projects
Theatre is about collaboration so working together is essential.  Projects will incorporate learning from: Acting fundamentals: Improvisation, Projection, Movement, Scenework, Playwriting, and Design Skills.
Participation
Participation is the key to this class.  Come in ready to contribute.
Exercises
         Exercises may take the form of visualizations, writing, or games.
    All exercises will contribute to your grade and requires focus and
    commitment. 
Constructive criticism
          We’ll always start with “What works” when critiquing our peers.
Respectful Demeanor
    Guests may come in from time to time to work with us.
    In class and on field trips we will represent HTMMA proudly.

Materials
Pencils – Please always have 2 pencils with you. 
Paper  - Please have a spiral notebook for Drama notes. This notebook will stay in the Drama room 
Additional materials will be outlined as needed.

Be Prepared
Late work will not receive full credit and will be graded at the discretion of the teacher. 
Deadlines are very important!  Students are expected to be prepared for class with materials, lines memorized and other assignments completed on time.

Absences
Students are responsible for finding out what assignments were missed and for turning in make-up work.  If you know you will be gone for more than 3 days, please set up a contract with Miss Tianna before you leave.

Grading
Make sure to complete all assignments.  Missing even one score can bring your grade down significantly.
