As an arts educator, Linda has worked with a wide range of students from fifth graders to working professional actors.   Locally, Linda has been a teaching artist for Playwrights Project, San Diego Junior Theatre, and the Academy of Performing Arts, and she is a founder of the San Diego Actors Alliance, a service organization for San Diego artists for over 20 years.  She taught all levels of theatre courses at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, Maryville College, and Pellissippi State College. Linda trained at the Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts and
earned her Masters of Fine Arts degree from Temple University.  Because of her extensive professional experience Linda received  her teaching credential as a person of eminence; one of 27 such credentials issued since 1979.  Currently she teaches at High Tech Middle Media Arts where she formed the Drama department.

Linda is a regular on San Diego stages.  Her primary role has been as an actress but she has also produced, directed, written, and designed numerous productions.  Most recently she performed at Lambs Players Theatre in "festival of Christmas" "A Christmas Carol" at New Village Arts, and Marmee in a world premiere adaptation of "Little Women" at North Coast Repertory.  Linda played guitar for "The Heidi Chronicles" at NVA, the Butcher in Moxie Theatre's "Butcher of Baraboo" and did a reading of a new play by Tom Cone (Herringbone) at the La Jolla Playhouse directed by Tony Award winner Roger Rees.  She played Faith in "Acts of Faith", a world premiere for Laterthanever Productions.  Other world premiers include: "Five Cups of Coffee" for Lambs Players Theatre, "The Adoption Project" and "Remains" for Mo'olelo, and "Sweet Deliverance", "Girl of My Dreams", and "Doctors and Diseases" for Barter Theatre in Virginia. Linda played Mrs. Potts in "Beauty & the Beast", Mrs. Paroo in "The Music Man",  and Joanne in "Company" at Starlight. Some of her roles at the San Diego Repertory Theatre include: Goneril in "King Lear", Nerissa in "The Merchant of Venice,"  Female Greek Chorus in "How I Learned to Drive" and Mrs. Fezziwig in "A Christmas Carol".  Internationally, Linda has toured to Far East Russia, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, and Toronto, Ontario.  Her regional theatre work includes: Arizona Theatre Company, Clarence Brown Theatre, and Barter Theatre.

Awards include two Craig Noel San Diego Critics Circle Awards: one for solo performance in "Request Programme" at Ion Theatre where she is a proud company member, and a second for her performance in "Cabaret" at North Coast Repertory.  She earned a KPBS Patte Award for "In Arabia We'd All Be Kings", a K.A.T. award for "The Glass Menagerie", an AriZoni Nomination for "How I Learned to Drive", and two Dramalogue Awards for "Six Women with Brain Death or Expiring Minds Want to Know" which she played for over 565 performances.

Linda is also a musician - enjoying singing, guitar, piano and an occasional bout with a banjo.  She loves to travel.
